The backbone of the firm, Shashank, is the founder and managing partner, with over 39 years of experience in the industry. With academic accolades and degrees including an LLB and an doctorate from the University of Mumbai in the area of valuation, along with practicing as a Chartered Accountant, Shashank has a thorough understanding of both law and accounting. He leads our forensic and investigations practice. He brings over 39 years of experience in audits of clients and has led more than 40 forensic audits for various public as well as private sector banks and NBFCs. He has presented several papers and has been a keynote speaker at various seminars conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has assisted the ICAI in designing the course content for its certificate course on valuation. He is also a member of the visiting faculty at various management institutes. He is the founder director of Orion Capital Services Ltd., which is engaged in providing financial services.

It is his perceptive mentoring and strategic leadership skills that have made DSA an efficient player in the assurance, forensic auditing, and investigations spaces.
